I picked these buttons up at a flea market yesterday for two bucks a piece but used my savvy deal-making business skills to pay five for these three puppies. Anyway, the two white ones seem to be political buttons and the black one just makes me look classy, dammit!

Currently reading The Wild Things by Dave Eggers. Another book I received for Christmas, only this time from my best friend. It's the special edition cover, it's so soft and furry! The third picture is my book marker, its an old photo I bought at the flea market for a buck. Its one of my favorites that I've collected, so far.

I got this book as a gift from my sister for Christmas. She told me she was looking through quite a few books at an antique/thrift store, picked this one up, turned the cover over and immediately got the chills. It actually belonged to my Grandfather, I'm guessing during the 1950's while he was attending college. It even has his name and address in it! I was slightly weirded out but in a good way since, you know, it isn't very often that when the first time my sister goes to a store that I've been to many times, ends up finding my grandfather's book in a shelve of hundreds, just a few days before the store goes out of business and closes. You lucky bastard, you (me, of course).
